When opening a new webpage by pressing the url, the menu item “Open in new tab” causes a very intrusive large blue bar offering to switch to the new tab. Many times I just want the new url in a new tab for later reference and want to go on reading the current webpage. Please remove this option or better, make it an option in settings. When we are composing a message we see above it who is sending, but we only see it is our email address. And after we send the message we look in the sent folder and we see  indeed it's not just our email address who is the sender, it is also our name. Currently, no EAI email addresses (such as äöü@test.local) can be set up in Thunderbird, whether on a desktop or mobile device. Entering punycode is not a solution either, because EAI (SMTPUTF8) means native UTF-8, and there are no intermediate encodings such as punycode for IDN. When in the tabs view on mobile Firefox, where you can: select multiple tabs to send them to another device close tabs in the 'private section' currently when finishing those actions ("Tabs sent!", "Private tab closed" messages briefly show), the tabs view closes. And you end up with the browser view. For the first you lose the selection of the multiple tabs. Where I usually then just want to close those sent tabs. I have to go back to the tabs view. Select the same tabs again. Then close them. If the tabs view had stayed open and the tabs selected, I only would have to click the 3-dots and "Close". And for the second, when I close the last private tab, I usually want to go back to normal tabs. But the (empty page) private browser view is shown. Thunderbird Android now has the gmail "Spam", "Sent", "Drafts", and "Trash" folders as subfolders in a top-level IMAP folder called "gmail", while "Inbox" and "Outbox" are their own Tor-Level items. I understand they are probably arranged this way on Google's side, but handling them as exceptions on the folder list would make things much easier, especially since the top-level folders cannot be auto-expanded right now (I submitted another Idea for that). ... Start Firefox, open four tabs, separate them into four, and place them in a specific position on one of the monitors, all separately. How can I ensure that the next time I restart the system, when I start that Firefox profile, they all open in that position and separated? Artificial intelligence says that it would be impossible for Firefox to do something like this, as its native problem does not allow it to do so. For now, I have set up a macro to do it automatically, but that takes time. I would like it to happen automatically when I start up. Another thing, it would be nice if Firefox allowed you to zoom in on a specific area of the screen, and then be able to minimize the screen manually as much as possible, leaving only the zoomed-in part visible. Just because I add a tab to a 'tab group' doesn't mean I want to immediately go to that tab group. Please enable us to choose to NOT automatically go to the tab group. NB In settings I have not checked "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately". Also, sometimes I want to add 20 adjacent tabs to a tab group and it would be great to be able to highlight and add them all at once! But if that's too hard, please don't make me go to the tab group each time I add a tab to that group because each time I then have to navigate back to the remaining 19 or so tabs in between adding each one to the group and it takes way longer with many more keystrokes to do this when I already have too many tabs open 😅 That said, to quickly reduce the number of tabs I have ‘open’, it would be great if I could right click on a 'tab group' and have the option to: - add that tab group as a new folder in my bookmarks, and/or - add the tab group to a pre-existing folder in my bookmarks Thank you for your consideration. ... I love the idea of automatically opening PiP on active videos when switching to a new tab, but there is currently no way to close the PiP and have the video continue to play while I do my business in a different tab. Summary: When "Vertical Tabs" is on, the "List All Tabs" button should be in the sidebar with the vertical tabs, rather than in the main browser toolbar. The "List All Tabs" button is located at the end of the Tabs row when Horizontal Tabs are used. This makes sense. (It appears as a downward chevron in this configuration.) When Vertical Tabs are on, the "List All Tabs" button goes into the main browser toolbar. (It's the middle one here; different icon image for some reason.) But that puts it fully on the opposite side of the window as the Vertical Tabs, which default to the left sidebar. I was looking for this button when using Vertical Tabs and couldn't find it. I expected it to be with the other icons at the bottom of the Vertical Tabs sidebar: It seems more intuitive to me to put the List All Tabs button down here, or below the "Open a New Tab" button, rather than in the main toolbar at upper right. ... Currently in Thunderbird for Android, the list of folders in any given account is auto-collapsed to top-level folder such as "Inbox", with all subfolders hidden at the start. Also, under the top-level folders, only two layers of nesting is allowed e.g. "Inbox>01-Folder>A-Subfolder" are shown as folders nested within one another, but if "A-Subfolder" contained sub-folders itself, they are shown as "A-Subfolder/SubSub1" and "A-Subfolder/SubSub2" instead of being nested Improving the startup behavior to enable customizing which folders are auto-expanded or to remember the expanded folder list, and making the nesting go deeper that it is right now, would greatly improve the user's experience for those of us who use folders extensively. ...
