On several occasions, full screen windows from a website could not display the relevant requested data because the height of Firefox's header plus the height of the website's window's header exceeded the physical display height of my HP laptop.  If the headers trimmed off just a little of their excess space, then a portion of the data I wanted to see would be visible and so would their scroll elevators. I've complained to one such website that I frequently use, but I never know in advance when I'll encounter the next window from the same or a different website.  If Firefox trimmed off some of its own excess vertical space, then it would reduce the chance of encountering unusable windows on many other websites. When I do a Search in Google Chrome, I am able to click on the icon to the left of what I have searched for and drop it on the desktop so that I can do that search again. I cannot do that with Firefox.  ... View more

I'd like to suggest a new feature that allows users to not only create new filters from various points within an email, but also to extend existing filters with new conditions. This should definitely be implemented because there's a tendency to create a new filter for every email sender and subject. For example, Facebook sends emails from 4-8 different email addresses, but all should go into the "Facebook" folder. In this case, it makes sense to have an option in the context menu of the received email not only to create a new filter, but also to extend an existing email filter. There could be a small intermediate window where users can select the existing email filter (this is useful when there are many email filters), instead of just the context menu -> "Email Filter A, Email Filter B, etc." It's important that the selected parameters, such as "Sender" or "Subject," are remembered in this intermediate window so they can be added to an existing email filter. Hi, my Desktop has 32GB RAM but WASM ArrayLength has a hard-limit of 2GB. this results in me being unable to use JS-DOS for *.jsdos (zipped *.img plus dosbox.conf) that are larger than 1.9GB -> which severely limits the Games i can play on my own server i dont know why this setting isnt dynamic but hard-coded... pls change that ... In Firefox, when I open the Bookmarks 'Library' window [either by: Ctrl-Shift-O; or select: Bookmarks tab > Manage Bomarks], and then type a text string search for a list of all saved bookmarks that meet the spelling I'm sarching for, the following metadata for a bookmark will be displayed: > Name    (title of the bookmark) > URL > Tags > Keyword SUGGESTION: Can the bookmark's 'folder location' also be displayed for the url's metadata? For example, in the search bar of the Bookmark Library, I type 'apple'. Then a list of all bookmarks which have the 'apple' text string anywhere in a saved bookmark's url will be displayed/listed. When I select a url link to highlight it, I can't find a way to identify the forlder that that bookmark is stored in, in my Bookmark file. So it seems that Mozi//a Connect has a moderation problem. Comments take forever to be approved, threads get hidden so people can't see them, DMing staff doesn't seem to do anything anymore, etc. My idea is creating a "verified" status for certain accounts. The verification process could go something like: User "Hey I'm a real person." Staff: "What's the capitol of Kentucky?" User: "Frankfort." verified. I have been a user and active financial supporter of Thunderbird for nearly a decade. But there are some lacking basic features that make me set it aside from time to time. My #1 gripe is having to double-click on an email to open it. Surely, this isn't a favorite way of opening emails, is it? My personal account has almost 20 years, company one more than 15, I have also a shared one for work, dedicated to be flooded with automatic notficaition. Results? 20GB of local data between all mailboxes. Since I have the options compact mailbox automatically enabled it happens often (one per hour more or less) I starte to tune a little my inbox and my folders. Starting to se to limit sync only to 30 days to have complete message until a month, but it doesn't fix a lot to be honest. So I started to dig in folder's properties to better understand if am I missing something. I found a couple of things there: - use account settings - make this folder available offiline (translation not super accurate, I'm using TB in italian, just guessing the english) - restore folder I just want to have a quicker and lighter email client. A suggestion could be a unified option, in both account wizard and setting "keep offline only messages of the last 30/60/90 days, other will be cleaned of, only subject remains, the message will be downloaded on demand (and cleaned in a while if not opened)" In addition a common RESET button in account settings could be useful to delete all local data and downloaded from scratch if something get stuck.       ... Make it so I can right click a tab or tab group and lock it, making it un-closable. If the browser is exited they will still be there when opened no matter if multiple windows are open. I had a window open with my tab groups, then opened a new private window to login to a second Gmail account, then closed the main window thinking it was the private window. Boom, no more research project data. With locked tabs, even if I close the main window and have a private window still open, once I close that private window and open a new main window, those tabs and tab groups will reappear. ... Hi, I've been using your new Japanese translation feature a lot lately. It's a great, great feature, congratulations on developing this. But, It's annoying that I have to confirm the popup every time I want to enable translation. I don't know why. I mainly translate from one language to my own. The "automatically translate" feature doesn't work for me either; I need to see the original text first. I just need an "on/off" button in the address bar or a shortcut. That's all. Since Mozilla is promoting the use of profiles for content segregation (in addition to containers), it would be great if right-clicking a link also offered options to open the link on a specific profile, showing all available profiles (as we can currently do with containers). ... View more

some times we open multiple image or links in new tabs and don't want to jump into new tab immediately but some times we just want to open a new link or image in new tab and jump into it immediately so it's better to have a separate button to do this. ... View more

I use the Facebook container setting, but one annoying thing is anytime I click on a search result that takes me to Facebook, Instagram, etc I can't go back to the search. This is especially true as google serves up more videos from these sites in the search results. Anytime you follow a link that leads to the container it really should open in a new tab especially if you have open links in new tab checked like I do.  ... View more

I'm a very heavy user of Firefox on a laptop, with a second Monitor connected, as I work on it almost every day.  I keep about 15 Tabs Pinned as these are constantly being used.  Being able to drag a pinned Tab to my 2nd monitor - and back again - is a great feature. 👍👍👍 However...  I had to close Firefox and re-open it.  Unfortunately I had a 2nd instance of FF still open on the 2nd monitor, and only closed the main FF on my Laptop - so on restart of FF,  I only had the 2nd instance of FF open up.  So... I had to "rebuild" all my Pinned Tabs plus other tabs I'd been working with from the 1st (Main) instance of FF.  ☹️ I would hugely appreciate if,  on closing FF with 2 instances open,  on restart FF would open BOTH instances. 🙏 ... In accessibility on mobile, theres an option to enable "Zoom an all web sites" even if the sites don't support zooming. It's a brilliant feature. However, there's a couple sites where this zooming feature causes the site to be borderline unusable. A commonly used example would be DuckDuckGo's search in the "Image" results tab, where zooming in/out in a selected image glitches between DDG's own zooming feature and Firefox's zooming feature. Being able to add exceptions for sites where Firefox's zooming accessibility setting is *not* applied would be very useful, like how other settings have site exceptions.   ... View more

I use Firefox daily. I also use the extension "Tree Style Tab," but I thought it would be nice to create a vertical tab system unique to Firefox that offers the same usability, a similar UI system, and some degree of user customization. The current implementation of vertical tabs is "limited" and "not very versatile," so is it possible to create a "practical" vertical tab system unique to Firefox that is comparable to "Tree Style Tab" and offers a full range of usability?
