Since v132, when playing a video there is a new super-high contrast audio icon now in the tab, it replaced the previous much more subtle icon: Searching for "icon" in about:config does not reveal anything like "legacy.tab.audio.playing.icon", neither does there seem to be such a syntax for browser themes (at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/manifest.json/theme ). I make extended usage of saved search folders because I need to manage 3 (soon, 4) accounts with complex tree structure. These saved folders often share the same target folders, but differ for a little detail (i.e. a saved search folder shows the email I have received in the last 24 hours in selected folders, I would like to make another saved search folder which shows the email received in the last 7 days in the same folders). It would be extremely helpful for me to have a "Duplicate" function for saved search folders, in order to make only the small adjustments I need (change the period back in time) and not be forced to make again extensive work (select all the target folders again). ... On the Ideas page in the Mozilla Connect Community I tried to check whether my suggestion had already been posted. I searched on two words, Back Button. Since most of the hits were for one or the other word or for both but not together, I then used the normal search convention of entering the phrase in quotes, "Back Button". I've watched fullscreen videos lots of times and I don't need to be reminded on how to exit fullscreen videos every single time! Please disable this. It blocks the video for a few seconds but it is really noticeable and annoying if you watch many short videos consecutively. ... View more

Thunderbird has a somewhat hidden 'Saved Files/Download ' tab, which you can access via Tools menu or Ctrl J. I think it is a very useful feature - especially in the context of Thunderbird as a desktop application. It would be useful if this tab was always open, or you could add a shortcut button (I could not find one) Also, in the file listing interface, perhaps the location of the files and the 'open containing folder' shortcut were made more prominent. (There is a lot of horizontal space available) (the problem - perhaps you save an attachment, then cannot remember which folder tree it was put in)   Perhaps saved attachments can be linked- to from their original message too. Firefox please add close tab button in other innactive tab. ex : when im on active youtube tab watching videos, and i want to close my facebook tab on next my youtube tab, i want to close it just only hovering my cursor to facebook tab, then the close "X" is appear while im hovering it it save 1x times clicks than just the regular closing tab about 2x times click the next tab and close "X", or right click next tab and click the close menu. just like chromium based does ... Currently, creating a new login on an app and saving the credentials on Firefox Android is a manual ordeal. Other password managers automatically offer to generate a new password and save it. Firefox only does a lookup of existing credentials (on other apps). Not sure if that same behaviour occurs on iOS. ... View more

It would be very helpful if while looking through the list of FF Add-On(s) 'Search Results' there was a checkmark or annotation that it's already installed.  It's nice to know what FF Recommends, but if there's several pages of 'Search Results' it's annoying to have to click on each one just to find out if you already have that Add-On. ... A feature that I think would be very useful would be a "record frame" button. Click the record icon to start recording, click again to stop recording....basically this would be like the feature that VLC has. I would like Firefox to supply variable windows (2 or more) for selected websites. For example when I search Google Firefox would have a smaller window at the bottom that showed results from another search engine (example duckduckgo). If I selected the result from Duckduckgo it would make the window a little larger. This would continue until the lower window was the preferred provider. This would incentivize web providers to place highest quality results higher in the results. I live in a spanish speaking country. If you could have a default translate option, that would make translate a lot more useful.  Sometimes it detects the Spanish and suggests English, but more often it has no clue and I have to pick Spanish from one pull down menu, and English from another. When managing multiple accounts, couldn't we imagine that instead of launching Thunderbird and with it all accounts, it would be possible to select only the mailbox we wish to check at a given moment? Hello, First of all, thank you for the excellent software. I have a lot of folders and subfolders in my mailbox. Is it possible for the folders to be closed until they are opened?
