Right now (129.0.2 back to when Add-on import was introduced) when you import data from another browser, you're presented with a checkbox to either import Add-ons or not. If you choose to import them, the only "option" you're given is to finish importing without even knowing what is being added. I feel like it would be a good idea to at least present a list of Add-ons to be imported, and better, offer a Cancel option, and best, offer Checkboxes for each one, pre-checked, with Select All and Deselect All options.

Thunderbird is a great program. I suggest that you add a feature for reading the messages aloud. People with low vision limitations can use the program to read their emails.

In the New Tab menu, you get shortcuts to pinned sites and sites that you have recently visited. Sometimes, you don't want them to be there, and you try to dismiss them. Problem is, if you have visited multiple pages of that site, you have to dismiss multiple times. And if you haven't done it for a while, you could end up clicking dismiss a hundred times before it finally goes away. Rather than just having a dismiss button, it could be split into 2 separate buttons: "Dismiss Page," and "Dismiss Site." The "Dismiss Page" button would ideally work the same way the normal "Dismiss" button does now. The "Dismiss Site" button would dismiss all pages on that site simultaneously, making the process to do so much less manual. Thank you for taking the time to read this suggestion, and I hope you consider it in the future.

Exiting TB a message warns if the Outbox folder is not empty. It could ask: "Send-Ignore-Cancel".

It would be very helpful if I could generate a report listing past events and tasks by category. If that's not possible, even just a simple report showing a line for each event with columns for the various data, (start time, end time, name, category, etc.) would really help. I could export that report into Excel and sort as needed.

If an email is addressed to an identity, Thunderbird automatically replies using that identity email address.
It would be useful if Thunderbird used that same identity when forwarding that email.

Modern Password Managers such as Bitwarden require PFR compatible browsers for some features such as unlocking vaults via Passkeys.
As Firefox currently does not support this is relies on the user needing to remember (to be more secure but less so than a passkey) complex passwords which for a human to remember are more likely to be brute forced.

I want to make simple notes in my Calendar about what just happened or need to do without setting up an event. I am not Elon Musk running corporations. Why can't i just simply write something where I need to?

Thunderbird should add an option where you can click a button to unsubscribe to the selected mailing list. Gmail has this option and it is very helpful.

Suggested function for Firefox Mobile (Nightly): When the back/forward menu is opened (ie holding down on back/forward button), hold down on an item to open it in a new tab.

Manage bookmarks shows all the fields except Keyword (ie Name, URL and Tags), but when assigning keywords or finding urls with keywords it would be helpful to see them and allow sorting by Keyword column as well. One could keep the current default layout and add it as an optional column since there's already a way to add optional columns by right-clicking the header

Hi, Maybe this is already possible, making this whole post irrelevant but it would be cool if you could basically "combine" two or more pages from your bookmarks and open them all at once. Or if you could have this preset already in place. Basically, I wanna open page x, y and z at once and maybe it can be done by dragging them and pressing some combination of keys to open them all at once. Or maybe I press to open page x and it asks if I want to open page y and z as well since I often open them all at once. Would be a neat feature and very useful when I do research for school and have to open several documents.

I regularly run several Firefox profiles in parallel. Every once in a while, it seems the update logic gets confused and every window says "Firefox is being updated by another instance", with none being able to (even manually!) check for updates. It would be great to have a different way of fixing that situation that doesn't require closing & reopening all instances and hoping it doesn't happen again…

Hello!
The option to translate natively on Android could be added not only in the Nightly version; but also in the Normal.
Firefox could make a simple web page showing everything that's active and whether it's working, and if it is obsolete; either in a tab of the Browser itself or on a separate website; so as not to have to go to unknown third party websites;
For example: Activated Working (obsolete)* DoH ✅️ ✅️ DoT ❌️ ❌️ Tor ✅️ ✅️ DoHoT ❌️ ❌️ ESNI (Version) ✅️ ✅️ Http/2 (Version)* ✅️ ❌️ HTTP/3 (Version) ✅️ ❌️ DNS (Version) ✅️ ✅️ DNSSEC ✅️ ✅️ DNSCript ❌️ ❌️ QUIC (Version) ✅️ ❌️ TLS (1.3) ✅️ ✅️ TCP (Version) ✅️ ✅️ UDP Version) ✅️ ✅️ Websockets (Versión) Ajax (Versión) to perform a simple check of the Browser if it is correctly configured and working.
By the way, I have verified that on Android I check if ECH is working in Firefox 129 for Android on these websites; https://one.one.one.one/help/ https://crypto.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace https://defo.ie/ech-check.php https://www.cloudflare.com/es-es/ssl/encrypted-sni/ but I see that it doesn't work. If it were working it would allow access to blocked websites and it doesn't. Does anyone know why? Will there be support in the near future for DNS over Quic (DoQ), over Tor (DoHoT,DoQoT), HTTP/3? and support for Post-Quantum encryption? This is important.
Thanks.

I only need to use saved passwords for a small number of non-critical websites. Why on Earth do I need to suffer 'save password' prompt for evry other website? Why 'Autofill logins and passwords' is subject to 'Ask to save logins and passwords' rather than a separate item??? Is your aim to frustrate users into other browsers?

A niche but growing phenomenon is cloud gaming. Cloud gaming has giant data centers running a game you want to play and then streams that game to your device. With this it can allow you to use older hardware cloud gaming, Mobile-Android, Desktop, Mobile-iOSthat might not be able to run the game otherwise. This also allows you to save on storage space on your computer. With all of this I keep having to go back to Chrome because no cloud streaming service supports playing through the Firefox browser. I hope Firefox can speak to these companies and make it to so their browser can be supported. For context i will link some of the more popular streaming services to show they do not allow using a Firefox browser https://www.amazon.com/luna/getting-started https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/cloud-gaming/supported_browsers https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce-now/system-reqs/#browser

Summary: When using Firefox across multiple virtual desktops in Windows, opening a web link via the Windows Run command causes an unwanted switch to a different virtual desktop if Firefox is already running there. Steps to Reproduce: Set up two virtual desktops (Desktop 1 and Desktop 2) in Windows. On Desktop 2, open Firefox. Switch back to Desktop 1. Use the Windows Run command (Win+R) on Desktop 1, type a URL (e.g., www.google.com), and press Enter. Expected Behavior: The URL should open in a new Firefox window on the current desktop (Desktop 1), or if Firefox is already running on Desktop 1, it should open a new tab in that instance. The current virtual desktop should remain active, and the system should not switch to another desktop. Actual Behavior: Instead of staying on Desktop 1, Windows switches to Desktop 2, where Firefox is already open, and the URL is loaded in a new tab. This forces the user to leave their current workspace on Desktop 1. Proposed Solution: Firefox should either: Open a new instance of Firefox on the current virtual desktop (Desktop 1) if Firefox is not already running there, or Open a new tab in the existing Firefox window on the current desktop, avoiding the switch to another virtual desktop.
