We need individual control, because sites with dark mode built in, when dark mode is ON, the site is converted to Light mode.

Hello, As a Mozilla add-on developer in charge of the deployment for my enterprise, I'm using the V5 add-on API to publish the add-on and automate through the CI. Although this API covers most of my needs and use-cases, there is one feature that I miss which is to be able to sort, search and filter on the upload list endpoint and the version list endpoint. This would be helpful in many cases including: - finding the latest upload made - finding a specific version Indeed, currently, if I need to find a specific version or my latest upload, I need to fetch all versions and uploads and filter on the result client-side. This could result in overusing Mozilla's API and is also tedious a a user of the API. I believe that this is a small change that could really improve this API and make its adoption easier and faster.

I don't know when this changed, but I notice that if I have just closed a window, and now want to reopen a tab in the current window, I naturally press Cmd+Shift+T, expecting it to, you know, open the last tab. Insted it reopens the window I just closed. While techncially that window did have a tab, there is already a command and shortcut (Cmd+Shift+N) to open the last closed window. Please make Cmd+Shift+T do the sensible thing.

ADDRESS BAR LAYOUT FEATURE REQUEST FOR FIREFOX ANDROID Currently on Firefox on the Bottom Toolbar, the address bar is attached to it. I personally don't like the address bar on the bottom toolbar, which is why I'm still using the Top Toolbar but it's not quite convenient for me. And I do want to use the bottom toolbar desperately. Hi! In the "Privacy & Security" tab we have the option to use a primary password for Thunderbird. It would increase security to be able to enable 2FA/MFA to this password. Best regards

I really like the night mode toggle in Firefox iOS, which makes white backgrounds black on websites for easier night viewing. I also like Firefox Focus on iOS, but it does not have this feature. So viewing websites at night is a little harsher on the eyes. Can this be added to FFF?

There are valuable extensions that no longer work due to the removal of legacy features. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bm-sidebar-scroll-retainer/ The lack of this feature is the reason I still use Vivaldi and cannot go back to Firefox.

I just created a new list in Thunderbird 115.9.0 (32-bit). I happened to click on the Thunderbird window behind the dialogue and the dialogue disappeared and I lost the work I had put into creating the list. I suggest that you sort this out so that the dialogue persists even if the user clicks back into the main window. It doesn't need to be modal, but it needs to continue to exist until the user dismisses it using OK or Cancel. I would consider this a bug, but someone may have actually designed it this way.

I found this is really annoying when I use Firefox in my iPhone and my Android tablet. The keyboard blocks shortcuts and it takes an extra step to access browsing history and bookmarks. Can you make this as a option? Related post I found on Reddit : Mozilla, please allow me to stop the keyboard from opening automatically on IOS

Hi, thanks for making Firefox. It means a lot that we have one last major independent browser. I don't care a lot about the new download panel. It looks nice, doesn't impede my workflow - for the most part. But there is one thing that is really annoying: When I scroll through a page with the space bar and then download a file, the download panel steals the keyboard focus and I can't continue scrolling (for several seconds, I assume). That's another reach for the mouse, a click in the page background just to continue. firefox looks like a mess on linux, it still uses a gtk3 stylesheet for context menus etc. despite everything else being changed with firefox themes (even the window decoration) i don't know if anyone else submitted this idea before, but either: let firefox themes change everything, even context menus instead of using gtk3 stylesheet, use a libadwaita stylesheet (imitate libadwaita) otherwise on linux it leads into an extremely inconsistent design, so firefox themes/colour that you can download on the addons website should style everything or have libadwaita styling for whatever's using a gtk3 stylesheet right now

Hello, In my account receiving newsletters & news feeds, I want to suppress a lot of messages based on the subject or the body. I have several dozens entries in an "any" rule with (for instance) "Subject" "contains" "x", "Subject" "contains" "y", ... Opening the dialog box for this rule is extremely slow because of the number of entries and it's not easy to manage. I'd love to have only one rule "Subject" "contains" "@file d:\data\filter1.txt" (or @file /home/me/filter1) and manage all keywords in a file (one per line) that I can easily sort, maybe automatically generated, etc. The rule itself would be much clearer as well. The "@file" keyword is only an example obviously, but such a keyword would allow using all existing operators (so I could have one file for subject and one for body in the same rule). In Germany you would write a datetime like this "24.03.2024 17:03" but not "24.03.2024 17:03": I cant format this. There is although missing an input for the hour and minute in the popup of the element. Define a additional attribute, which allows the formating of the date in the <input type="datetime-local"> Element. Use a subset of the notation in https://framework.zend.com/manual/1.12/en/zend.date.constants.html#zend.date.constants.selfdefinedformats or use a subset of notation in php https://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.format.php for the definition of the format of datetime-objects. My Opinion: The current realisation of the element <input type="datetime-local"> is a god try but a mess realisation in all browsers.

I have several extensions (1Password, Firefox Relay) which enhance form field functionality. I also rely on the browser's form fill behaviour as well. (I love that it will suggest previously used values when I fill out a form for a second time). These different tools end up "fighting" for the input field (especially for email addresses!). Several want to add their own icon to the field and then when I try to type in a field I get multiple over-lapping drop downs. It would be great if the browser could facilitate these interactions.

Ahoj, I use the extension "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" extensively. I have created many containers, and have assigned many different websites to different containers, often some sites sharing a single container. When I want to set "Always Open This Site in ..." for a new website, I have to scroll the long, unsorted list of containers. There is no search field I can use, and there is no categorisation I can utilise. So I have the feature requests: Provide a search field for existing containers in the "Always Open This Site in ..." function, allow to create categories like a folder hirarchy for containers, which can be collapsed/ expanded individually.
