I, and many other people, I'm sure, tend to move between devices depending on where they are (e.g. from laptop at work to PC at home). Usually, I have many tabs open at once regardless of which device I'm using, and now that tab groups are a thing, I can finally sort them. However, when moving between devices, I still have to search for and open each tab separately, even if it's in a tab group. For that reason, I'd like it if tab groups could be displayed in Firefox View in a similar manner to how they are displayed in the tab bar. In addition, I'd like it if you could open an entire tab group from another device at once. Description: When using Firefox vertical tabs with the "expand on hover" feature enabled, selecting a lower tab while the sidebar is collapsed causes the tab list to scroll to the top — especially when pinned tabs are present and the total number of tabs exceeds the vertical screen height. This makes it harder to track which tab is active and breaks the user experience. Steps to Reproduce: Enable Vertical Tabs in Firefox. Enable Expand on Hover feature for the vertical tab sidebar. Pin a few tabs (e.g., 2–3). Open many tabs (more than what fits the vertical screen height). Collapse the sidebar (so only icons are shown). Click a tab located near the bottom of the list. Sidebar scrolls to the top automatically, instead of focusing the clicked tab. Expected Behavior: When a user clicks on a lower tab, the sidebar should auto-scroll or remain focused on that tab — without jumping to the top of the tab list. Actual Behavior: The sidebar scrolls all the way to the top after selecting a lower tab, hiding the selected tab from view. I have been using Thunderbird for a month or so now and am finding it a great alternative to the other mail clients out there! One thing I'd like to suggest is easier filtering of starred emails. Currently, when looking at an inbox, I have to first select 'Quick Filter', then open the Quick Filter menu, then select 'Starred' to see these. I love Firefox, but the smooth scrolling is just a pain. I regularly go to shopping websites and articles for work, and it's between 30- 45Hz refresh rate. Still, the display is 120Hz, killing the experience, and it doesn't matter what I choose within the settings. With Firefox 138, finally I can use multiple profiles like in Chrome (previously I was using the workaround of containers + containerize extensions)! Love it! But, if possible, I want to have the option to display only one icon in the taskbar (on this case, no profile icon would be displayed over the icon). Similar to Chrome (yes, I know, I know...) After a few days of trying out the vertical tabs with "expand on hover" enabled, I noticed that the time it takes to expand the tabs feels unnaturally long. For one, it's nice that if my mouse accidentally hovers over the sidebar, it doesn't automatically open it, but adding the option in about:config to change the hover time needed to expand the sidebar would help in making the hover time feel slightly more natural! ... Please please allow us to change the column widths .....using a smaller laptop screen in vertical view it is not possible to reduce the width of the message list pane (i.e. the 2nd column) enough to see more of a preview of the message in the message pane (3rd column) It is possible to do this in outlook classic so why not in TB....that simple option would be so much better for us Thanks ...
