As a language learner, I love the beta Firefox translation feature "Translate Selection". However, when text is translated to another language, it pops up in a box that partially overlays the original text which makes it difficult to compare the original and translated text. Nowadays, photographs have size comparable to e-mail attachment size limit and generally it makes no sense to send 10MB photos in most cases. Currently, it takes three clicks to read a page aloud (four if you want to get rid of that wretched icon pop-up that blots over the page text that you want to follow). Currently on Android phones as soon as you rotate your phone to horizontal the space around selfie camera turns black and stays like this even if you watch videos in fullscreen. As far as I know it can be fixed, because Chrome does work properly in such a scenario using the whole screen real estate. Since v132, when playing a video there is a new super-high contrast audio icon now in the tab, it replaced the previous much more subtle icon: Searching for "icon" in about:config does not reveal anything like "legacy.tab.audio.playing.icon", neither does there seem to be such a syntax for browser themes (at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/manifest.json/theme ). This is the most basic thing that Mozilla could do. Whether installing Firefox (or its forks like nightly) or Thunderbird or creating a Mozilla account, it could just force the user to make a decision. If any Mozilla employee is reading this your projects are open-source, and you have Mozilla Connect (this very platform) you will find many of your users will be much happier with this change. I have a hyphenated last name that is three words with a space separating two of them, and as a result, Firefox leaves out 2/3 of my last name when autofilling forms.
