I love Reader View, but it's annoying that the Reader View icon gets pushed around when other icons (like video & translate) are present. Reader View is something you habitually and often enable and then disable. Manage History has a Visit Count but it is unusable. The Visit Count seems to be the total visits for the entire history. And if your history is 3 months long, then the total will be for the whole 3 months. I'd like to analyze my browsing habits and it would be helpful to know the number of visits per day. For example: Today - Number of visits (10) Google.com - 7 visits Mozilla.org - 1 visit Youtube.com - 2 visits Yesterday - Number of visits (21) Facebook.com - 12 visits Youtube.com - 3 visits Wikipedia.org - 4 visits Myspace.com - 2 visits Please don't lump all history in one bucket. Pinning a tab in firefox in Version 134.0.2 is not working as it should: When firefox is closed with a pinned tab that page is not reopened when Firefox is started. If it is not supposed to do that then: It should do that, but first a pinned tab should prevent the closing of firefox which would solve the reopening problem. ... View more

Right now if one selects F11 (full screen mode) only the tab bar and the address bar are shown when one moves the pointer to top of the screen, the favorites bar (even if ALWAYS SHOW is selected for that option) is omitted for some strange reason. Also full screen mode blocks the windows task bar from showing as well, while in pop up mode. The reason people like me want these features is because we use small and light portable laptops and want to maximize the screen space. We should not have features disappear because of it, otherwise what is the point? If full screen mode for some reason can't be set up to accomplish these tasks let us have a option to customize our web browser to be able to SEAMLESSLY modify our browser to use limited screen space to the max while quickly allowing access when we need it via pointer. ... I often want to Delete an email without reading it (No Points for guessing why). Right click on its listing used to offer a Delete option. Now I have to highlight and mouse up to the toolbar and select Delete there. I really really hate that. I cannot imagine any good reason for removing Delete from the drop-down menu. And believe me I've tried. I can however imagine many reasons of varying degrees of badness for doing so, but enumerating them would be tedious. Currently, as per the CSS @font-face specification, Firefox does not support platform substitution for fonts specified using local() in the src property. The spec states that "Platform substitutions for a given font name must not be used," which is generally in line with font rendering consistency across platforms. However, in some use cases, especially when controlling font rendering via fontconfig (on Linux platforms), it's necessary to allow platform-specific font substitutions for more precise control over which fonts are used. This is especially important in environments where custom fonts are preferred or where system fonts must be substituted due to specific user preferences or system configurations. Feature Request: It would be incredibly useful if Firefox could provide an option (likely in the settings or via about:config) to enable platform-based font substitution when using the local() function in @font-face. This would allow users to take advantage of fontconfig (or similar platform-specific font management systems) to replace the font with an appropriate system font based on configuration, without requiring changes to the web font itself. ... Thunderbird is a unique e-mail program due to the large number of useful functions, many necessary settings and facilities already at the level of the basic version (without add-ons), which makes it unrivaled, and the add-ons make it even more unique. However, there is one big drawback, namely the lack of text searching in text attachments such as PDF, XML, XLS, DOC, ODT, CSV, TXT, etc., along with searching in the message content. Various programs perfectly support searching in attachments, such as eM Client, but it has very few configurations, so it is weak for demanding users (like me). To look for something in attachments, I have to log in to Gmail via a browser, and that's not the point of using an email client like the great Thunderbird. I'd like to be able to save bookmarks on Android in a default folder I select (in my case, the root of Bookmarks Toolbar), or at least the last folder I saved *on Android* itself. I keep getting bookmarks "lost" in random folders, because I keep assuming any bookmarks I save on Android go to wherever I last saved on Android, and not "last saved on Desktop"... ! When I was using Chrome, that's how it used to work, so I never had to double check every time. I bookmark stuff on Android when I want to check later when I am on the PC. But if bookmarks go to "random" places every time, I keep forgetting about them, and then I don't even know where I saved them, anymore. ... View more

Hi everyone, i would like to deploy Thunderbird Android in my enterprise, but we have many smartphones and the QR Code is not an option because, sometimes, smartphones are simply out of the country and many options are locked for a non-admin user. So, it's possible to configure Thunderbird Android remotly with an MDM like MobileIron or Intunes ? I can see the issue "https://github.com/thunderbird/thunderbird-android/pull/5878", that can be a good answer for the fields we can configure. Show a verified domain, email address, or email domain for addons posted on https://addons.mozilla.org/ to make it easier for users to confirm that an extension is from the identity/organization/company it lists. As an example, with the addon for Firefox iCloud password integration, it is difficult for users to have confidence this addon is from Apple. At present, the addon review process implicitly must be careful that an addon advertised as from company A is from an email address we know is from company A or is verified to be from company A in some way. Showing the verified domain or email address (caveats below) would add transparency to that effort and give users more confidence to install addons. A verified domain would be preferable for entities/companies like the Apple example. For individual developers without a domain, an option for the developer to show the email address might help with transparency. Caveats: Showing the verified email address or domain would add transparency to the auditing/review task. It could be 1) opt-in so that individuals not wishing to display an email address on AMO would not have to OR 2) limited to the domain of the verified email address so as not to show the complete address. There is some risk of confusion with email accounts. For example, @Icloud.com email addresses are freely available and some might confuse an @Icloud.com email address as conveying the account holder has an association with Apple. VSCode example: With the Microsoft VSCode extension library, some extensions are reported as having a verified domain. A have a small suggestion for more intuitive UI. When I click the mouse middle button on any link, it will open in a new tab. When I click it on back/forward it open its in a new tab. It is a great set-up that i use all the time, but following the same logic I would expect that such click on a tab will dupplicate it - it closes it instead. Since I do not live in a English-speaking country, my computers do not have the standard US or UK keyboard layout and some of the characters the generator puts into the secure password are not present on keyboards in my country. This makes it unnecessarily difficult to input my passwords in devices where I am not logged in with my Mozilla account, and while I could easily avoid the problem by manually changing those characters on password creation, I believe it would be simpler if somewhere in the options the user could change the selection of character that can be chosen when creating the password.
