Please, please, please make it possible to organise bookmarks better (Android). Currently bookmarks exist in exactly the order they are created in each folder. I would like to be able to prioritise/sequence bookmarks within each folder. i.e. to be able to move a bookmark higher or lower in the sequence/list within the folder it resides. This would seem like an obvious improvement, to me, but somehow hasn't been addressed in any of the recent updates. Thanks

Hi Dear Mozilla Team! Here’s a real-world user frustration and a concrete suggestion (my “contribution” to development!): On Firefox Mobile, the browser features a built-in QR scanner, right next to the microphone icon (see my attached screenshot). I, like many, naturally tried to use this scanner to link my mobile to my desktop Firefox for Sync. It should be quick—scan the code, done! However, the scanner refuses Sync codes, forcing an awkward journey through menus and a separate “pairing mode.” There’s no technical reason for this block: it’s the same scanner (hardware & software). Let us use it for Sync, and just launch into the authentication flow automatically. Why this matters: Saves time and confusion: No more “improper method” or “wrong scanner” error. Empowers users to use features where they expect. Would encourage more Sync adoption (that’s what we want, right?). Fixes a pain point that makes Firefox look less friendly compared to competitors. Also: I happily contributed £15, but the constant push for recurring payments can be a turn-off. Consider valuing one-time contributions and feature proposals more highly—users sometimes feel like a piggy bank! Best regards, Wlodzimierz L.

Apple computers and devices extend the use of IMAP flags (normally just set or unset) to support 7 different colours of flags, using a proprietary modification of IMAP and binary 000 -> 111 settings. This implementation is backwards compatible with non-Apple devices in that setting any colour of apple flag will just show as flagged on a non-apple device, and setting the single flag colour on a non-Apple device will just set a red colour flag on Apple. I think it would be relatively simple to support this standard. Microsoft Exchange/365 also has multi-coloured flags using its own proprietary standard which I expect you already support.

Hi, Currently, when I click on the hamburger menu (top-left) in the Thunderbird Mobile on Android, it displays the list of folders and subfolders of the account I am on, starting with the main ones (inbox, outbox, archive, etc.). However, when it comes to my own subfolders, the displayed name is very convenient: when folder A contains folder B, folder is listed as "A.B" and vertically aligned with folder A. It would be much cleaner and easier to visualise to call it "B" and to add a small horizontal increment, so that the name "B" would be a little bit more to the right. Thanks!

The current tab-sharing function is not yet optimal! The sharing from PC to smartphone works, but if I want to see the current tabs of my smartphone on the PC, this is only possible in very rare cases, about tabs that I opened several hours ago. An update button would be, for example, a solution proposal if it would work ...

I view all emails in plain text by default. However some emails only show content in HTML view. I would love to be able to toggle between these views quickly (for one email) without having to go to the "View" menu and change the setting for the whole application. I would love to have a button that can be added to the email header via the customization or to at least have it in the context menu of the email content. (There is an add-on that tries to provide exactly this functionality but doesn't work properly. I assume that is because thunderbird considers this an application wide setting right now.) Thunderbird

In Firefox, you cannot pause a download, but it resumes the interrupted one and if you cancel, the download starts over again

I find it creepy to know that websites that I visit that don't need to know my exact location know for no absolute reason. But I don't trust a single free VPN nowadays, especially after reading most VPNS privacy policy. I know Mozilla has a VPN but it cost money, and its for your whole computer. I just wish Mozilla could make a browser VPN extension for free and leave the computer one to cost money. It would be amazing to know that websites couldn't know my exact location for no reason at all.

In Firefox 102, Firefox start to remove url tracking parameters. However this is not enough.

Like many others, I have been using Thunderbird on my desktop for many years. More than 20. I tried the Android version (I previously tried its K-9 precursor) and I am quite disappointed. There is one missing feature that is an absolute deal-breaker for me: You cannot expand and/or collapse folders in the folders list. Every one of my folders is displayed in one very long list.

When I create books in folders I liked being able to separate groups of bookmarks in alphabetical order by adding a a spacing bar. There is no longer an option to create a spacing bar

Hello, these Independent Voices are certainly nice, but I want to set my own independent color (for example, some cyan, any RGB) or a photo with a creeper (to feel the simpler times). And at the same time, I want the Firefox logo on the main screen to adapt and, if necessary, turn black so it doesn't blend in with the wallpaper. In Waterfox, this is not fully implemented, and the logo text does not change color, as I understand it. I believe this is one of the small joys that will significantly make the world better and more orange. Please don't merge it with that idea with 0 kudos; its title seems not entirely obvious to me.

Could increase the number of "restore previous session" options. Because if a user have a closed session, open Firefox, open a tab, and forget to restore the previous session, the previous session is gone, because it will be the session for that new tab. If the "restore previous session" option worked twice, it would be better, because user would only need to use the function twice and the session you really want to recover would be recovered. The main competitor in the market allows the user to recover multiple times and Firefox would gain points if it also allowed using the session recovery function multiple times

It would be really useful if Firefox for iOS and Android supported the generation of Relay aliases. As it stands, a user has to open a separate tab, load the Relay website, login and then create an alias, copy it and then go back to where they needed it. It would be far easier to integrate alias creation within the browser itself. I think DuckDuckGo browser can do this, as an example.

When Firefox is maximized, tabs start stacking up in the top-left-most corner of the window. When Firefox is open in a smaller window, though, Firefox leaves a blank area to the left of the first tab. I would like the option to remove this blank space.
I've heard the justification that it gives you a place to grab the window, but there is already a blank space to the right of the "all tabs" arrow, so even if the top bar is full of tabs you will always have somewhere to grab. Even in the rare situation that someone is trying to click and drag a background window and can only see its very left margin, there are still other trivial options for moving the window. For example, on Linux you can just hold ALT and you can drag the window no matter where you click on the top bar. You can also just ALT + TAB or click any exposed part of the window to maximize the window you're trying to resize.
The downside of leaving the blank space in the top left corner is that it gives your tabs less space in which to tile, which means there's less readable text on each tab and you have to resort to opening the carousel / "all tabs" list earlier. Given that this occurs in windowed mode, where you already likely have less horizontal space to work with, this is especially problematic.When this was first introduced I honestly thought it was a bug and I haven't warmed on it at all since then. I think it makes the interface look disorganized.
