As of now Firefox can translate to 16 different languages and it will probably increase even more with time. If you want to translate to your native language which is selected by default then fine but if like me you want to translate to something else having to select it in an ever growing list is bothersome. When going through my email, I often encounter individual messages and message threads. These two different message types have different button bars displayed. There was a time, not so long ago, when you type your key words, results show with the last message, corresponding to the search, selected. Now, it throws you away randomly far in the past, so you have to scroll and scroll to find your message (as most of the time we are looking for recent messages). At present if I right-click a link and choose 'Open Link in New Private Window' all is well.  However that is the only choice if I wish to open a second one.  What I'd like is the addition of a function to 'Open Link in New Tab in Existing Private Window.' Dear all, I find myself repeating this task when cleaning my inbox. The repetitive task it to copy the 'from' mail and copy to quick filter in order to have all mails from the specific mail address displayed in order to see if I will delete them all together, one by one or not at all. This is in response to Crunchyroll's policy where each open tab with Crunchyroll's video player counts towards a stream limit, regardless of whether that tab is currently playing the video or not. Crunchyroll's suggestion to this problem was to close those tabs once done watching, but I use my tabs in a semi-bookmark fashion so don't want to do that. My current solution to this is to close and reopen entire Firefox because it's the only way I know to close the tabs AND keep them in the tab bar at the same time. But it's still possible to forget to make some non-relevant tab active before doing this. A related annoyance is the behavior where closing a tab automatically loads the next tab on the right. Combined with Crunchyroll's behavior, that loaded tab could be a tab of an anime that I wasn't planning to watch next, which forces me to do the above procedure to get out of Crunchyroll's stream limit again. tl;dr wishlist 1. A function that flushes current tab contents but keeps the address and the tab in the tab bar. 2. An option to guarantee that closing a tab doesn't load an adjacent tab or make it active. I would like for us, users, to be given the power to customise the sidebar in the "customise toolbar" option. I think this will be useful should be added before sidebars are introduced into mainstream firefox. For example some users might not like the ai chatbot option. I have seen a lot of backlash against mozilla for adding that feature. I think they would be able to appreciate just going to the "customise toolbar" option just remove that button all together from the sidebar and follow "an out-of-sight-out-of mind" policy with it. I am not saying that it is a complete fix but whatever. Also if you are implementing this just also add the ability to move the etensions addon to another place. Because if you are anyway going to mess with the "customise toolbar" option might as well just add it. ... View more

I really appreciate the new wallpapers option for the default page. But, I think some people would appreciate it more if we could cycle through wallpapers. For example: Say I go to the Homepage and select the options for customising it  and chose photographs. I think at the end of all the option we should be given one more option where if we click on it we will be given a pop-up saying: Cycle Photographs for <Enter Number> years <Enter Number>months <Enter Number>weeks <Enter Number>day <Enter Number>hours <Enter Number> minutes <Enter Number> seconds(yes I know that most people probably wont want their every year or month, but you know I dont think it hurts anybody to be given the option)   Also I think it might be appreciated if we could upload our own photos. Hi, so... I loath HTML emails and by default use plain-text view (with AllowTempHTML plugin to get html view if someone sends html-only email). currently there is no way of editing them so if I make a mistake then I need to delete the entire thing and start over. Also, there isn't a way to export/import them. I am coming from a different firefox fork and wanted to import them to firefox. Additionally, the option to add a new search shortcut was missing and I had to ask for help online to do it. ... Could we please have an action in the context menu of calendar entries which is effectively a shortcut to move the end time of a meeting to the current time? The option should probably always appear, but be grayed out by default. It should only be enabled/clickable in the case that: the start date of the calendar entry is in the past. the user has write-access to the calendar entry. This means the button can be used to: It'll be enabled for current events that are ongoing as far as Thunderbird is concerned. It will move the end time of the event to the current time, ending the meeting early and opening up the time slot. (My use case.) It'll be enabled for past events that have already finished, and it will move the end time of the event to the current time, extending the meeting. (To track overrun meetings.) This isn't a major time saver, but just a minor affordance that makes it more convenient to open up booked time slots if the meeting finished quicker than expected.
