This is a standard feature in Safari, Chrome and Brave but on Firefox you need to manually set it for each page you visit the first time. There needs to be a setting for a default zoom/font for all web pages. Thanks.

One thing I really miss in Thunferbird is a "done" or "completed" option on the right-click menu or the edit menu. Maybe both, because there should also be a way to uncheck completion. Visually, it would be very positive if completed events and tasks would also appear on the global screen in a strikethrough style with a unique background color; i.e. a medium gray used for all completed items.

The subject column used to be able to shrink to as few as two lines in order that a more readable space was allowed. Current space can only be minimized to nine lines. Too much wasted space.

We all know reminders for tasks, appointments or emails, but truly a great browser should be able to remind me to check out a certain tab or website at a given time. I may find a useful website, but just don't have the time to check it out right now, so I want or need to look at it later. I would like to right-click on the tab, create a reminder, set a date and time and add a short text-note and then get reminded with a push/pop-up in the browser with the option to snooze the reminder. If this would then also remind me on all logged in devices for my Mozilla account, this would be a game changer, because otherwise I have to open a reminder app and add the reminder there which takes a lot more time and effort.

Having a primary password which protects access to stored password is great. It would be great if firefox could be configured to re-request the primary password every so often, to reduce the impact of (OS login) session hijacking. Given the prevalence to sleep/hibernate PCs a firefox process may last for several days or possibly weeks, meaning that access to use the stored logins lasts that long too. It would be great if that duration could be limited without needing to cycle the firefox process.
There already seems to be something like this for accessing the raw credentials on `about:logins` -- the first time you click to see a password you're prompted for the primary password, but if you click to see another right away then you're not asked again. Yet you are asked again if you try to do this a bit later on (I'm not sure what the delay is).
A default (maybe 4 hours?) would likely work for most users, though being able to customise the duration (even just via `about:config`) would be great for those who want more control over their security posture.

Now that passkey is in development and partially delivered, I think it's a good time for passkey to appear as an option on your Firefox login page. It will improve both security and usability of the Firefox ecosystem.

For years it has been a mystery to me why I cannot find some emails I've sent to the trash. Even after only minutes. Just now I have discovered that it is because Gmail has assigned the to a category. Apparently when an email with a category is trashed it does not go into the trash as one would expect. Instead it goes or remains in the category. This is counter intuitive and a poor user interface design. Trash should mean trash not just removed from the Inbox. I personally have my own filters and don't use categories but thought them harmless. Not I see they are not. Either allow me to turn off the categorization OR change the Trash action to always put the email into the trash.

Alt-M-M used to move a message regardless if you had just hilighted the message in the message list, or if you were in the message window (scrolling or copying, etc). Now Alt-M-M acts like it's going to do something, but doesn't move the message. Please restore this function.

I'm using Firefox Dev Edition and something that would be a fantastic addition to the contextual menu (when you right-click on a link) would be Copy Path or Copy Link Without Host. I seemingly do this a thousand times a day and always have to remove the host.
Anyway, thought I'd pass the idea on...

Circumstances require that I use several email applications, and when I have several open at once Thunderbird (my go-to for at least 25 years) kind of disappears. Compare:
How about a little graphic snap, or a larger font, to help me find it when needed?

I've been a Firefox user for over 17 years now and it's been my default browser for a long time. I've got a lot of bookmarks and I feel it's time Fx gave it a good revamp. I use the keyword feature a lot to quickly open website that I bookmark frequently use.
Currently I need to bookmark a site, then go to the Bookmark Manager, find the bookmark, then add the bookmark.
It would be great to be able to add the Keyword function in Bookmark this Page (Ctrl+D) dialog itself. Probably just under the 'tags', this would make it super easy for those using the feature.
Another feature that would make bookmarking more intuitive wold be the ability to search folders (or Bookmark Location), also while bookmarking.
Here's a mockup:

A temporary unblock/whitelist button for DNS over HTTPS is still missing. It is mentioned three years ago and nothing changed so far. I find it really annoying too being forced to make permanent exceptions when I only want to call the site once and would like the exception to get deleted afterwards. Everytime I have to delete the entry manually. This isn't neither productive nor secure, Mozilla! Instead, websites button should offer the temporary exception (only) and the settings DoH exceptions list the permanent exceptions (only). This is how I set it for certificate permissions in about:config and thats the only secure way avoiding people forgot about their exceptions to easily! This is an example like it should work (DNS over HTTPS maximum security): 1. Normal: open mozilla.org -> Website opens with DoH 2. Temporary Exception: open anydummythatnotexist.com -> DoH warning (present button "TEMPORARY exception") -> standard DNS-Resolver answers anydummythatnotexist.com is not found -> Restart Browser -> open anydummythatnotexist.com -> DoH warning (present button "TEMPORARY exception") again 3. Permanent Exception: Settings -> DNS over HTTPS -> "Manage Exceptions..." -> Enter exception for otherdummythatnotexist.com -> Save (should be permanent) -> Restart Browser (optional here)-> open otherdummythatnotexist.com -> standard DNS-Resolver answers anydummythatnotexist.com is not found

Context Calendars enable one to manage one's time efficiently, and colleagues can view one's busy/free times through a single main calendar. One can use events to block book time, thus demonstrating one's preferred availability (i.e. preferred core hours) with 'gaps' in the diary. Problem A problem, however, is that 'block bookings' will eventually pollute one's calendar with placeholder events. Thus obfuscating important entries and related events. A Solution It would be advantageous if one could create 'smart calendar views' (as we can do for emails) that could softly filter events based on categories and perhaps other domain specific information---as we can do for emails. Naturally, alerts and reminders should not be 'filtered'. Forces Thunderbird is _a client_ for a mail server, the solution should not be expected to work on other clients such as a web viewer. A solution should be a soft view on the calendar, events are not being deleted. A calendar can have many views. 'Smart Folders' for an email Inbox offer a reasonable UX for how filters could be specified (through the Dialogue Wizard) and also presented to the end user---collapsable listing of views.
