There shoud be a disagree button for ideas/suggestions. Sometimes it is not enough to have a approval/ button. Sometimes it is important for the community to communicate that a suggestion should not be supported.

I disagree with a forced storage within the os. Having had a similar situation with android, nothing is more frustrating then not beeing able to retrieve the passwords later. The advantage of software level storage should not be undervalued.

Think it's not a good idea for Firefox to automatically visite pages and update icons/... in the background. However, a context menu function in relation to selected bookmarks, would certainly be a good addition.

I strongly suggest not adding this to firefox. This is a classic example of something that can be added via addon. Firefox's code base should avoid unnecessary complexity.
