For people who wanna know i tried some stuff and the only ones that worked for me are browser.translations.enable and browser.translations.autoTranslate when on true. I don't get any popup or message if i wanna translate or to which language. The only way to translate is to enable autotranslate that translates to your language that is set in firefox settings and english websites doesn't translate which some weird reason. and also text translation isn't available.
Wanna say that text translation is available if you type about:translations just like on desktop. Luckily you can shortcut the page so you don't need to type everytime about:translations or keep the the page open.
@Jeppie thanks for checking in...there's no timeline yet to share, but it is a priority and coming soon. When we have some more concrete details to share, we'll do so in this thread. Stay tuned
One feature that I have found incredibly useful in other browsers like Google Chrome is the built-in translation button. This button allows users to easily translate web pages from one language to another, making online content more accessible and inclusive. As someone who frequently visits websites in multiple languages, I believe that adding a translation button to Firefox for Android would be a valuable addition
Automatic Translator add-on for Firefox Android app
Firefox is an excellent browser. I am using it for a long time as my default web browser. However in Android version, unlike other famous browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera), I found Firefox doesn't have any Translator add-on. Which I think is a huge turn off.
I am making a formal request to the developer team to add an automatic translator add-on in Firefox Android version app. I strongly recommend DeepL Translator. Many thanks.
