It is a constant annoyance that I can't tell which windows are minimized by looking at the Window menu. Other browsers, like Safari, put a "diamond" mark before the names of minimized windows.

This seems like a low-effort, low-risk enhancement, and I can't think of any downside to it. I've been begging for it for years. What's the problem?

Personally, I think the problem might be no one actually thinks they can use this information.  I have been around computers now for some 30 years, having upgraded to dos 3 and in that time moved from a single application at a time to multi process windows.

I have no interest in knowing of a window is minimised.  I want to know if the program is running,  if my system is on,  I want to know at a glance that say the mail program is active.  But the state of the window minimised or not has no value,  I either want to access say the browser,  or not.  If it is minimised really does not add anything for me,  and I would guess lots of other folk. I will switch to the application and expect the operating system to restore the window when I select it, minimised or not.
