  I'm often going through mails and deciding to delete or archive one after another. Since I can delete them with backspack or del thats fine but theres no hint on hovering over the archive button on it having a keyboard combo to activate. What really bugs me is that I often click archive on one mail after another and then suddenly the buttons change. I understand that different kind of mail offer different kind of actions but this is really annoying for me and I would love the default buttons always stay in the same place for consistency. Please add the feature to hide html elements as in Adblock plus. I hope Firefox Android can add a security feature for private tabs. When the user switches to another app or the device screen turns off, accessing private tabs again should require authentication, such as a password, fingerprint, or facial recognition, to prevent unauthorized access to private browsing content. I use tab groups in the vertical arrangement with no labels showing. I love it, the greatest feature in years. However: When collapsing a tab group the tab button gets ghosted, i.e., colors are inverted, and it's outlined. After using this feature since the very first day it got released, a subconscious part of my brain is still unable to understand that this button isn't the currently active page. It just looks like it, whereas the design of the real one is very inconspicuous and doesn't draw as much attention to it. Could we have an option, where the tab group button doesn't get inverted when closed? Or any other way of improving distinguishability? I know that's complaining on a high level. Groups appear to be great however if you're working in several and opening and closing tabs at a decent rate many would be outside the group as you `ctrl+t` to open a new tab it is not inside the group.  Being able to open a new tab in the current group would seem to be core to moving fast while keeping things grouped. ... On Opera Mobile, a draggable scrollbar appears when scrolling, allowing fast navigation through long pages. Firefox for Android lacks this, making it harder to scroll quickly. Please consider adding a similar feature to improve usability. ... View more

hi, it's good that there is a dark mode option in the mozilla settings, but it doesn't seem to be forced for every website. there are so many websites like even this one here that doesn't seem to be available in dark mode. other browsers like opera gx for example has an option to "force dark mode" on websites. this option should also be available in mozilla firefox because i don't want to be forced to use opera gx just because i'm constantly flashbanged while browsing the web via firefox. it's extremely tiring for my eyes and annoying on top of that. so will there be an option to force every single website to be viewed in dark mode? not every websites seems to have an option to manually actiavte dark mode in case firefox is unable to apply the dark mode. thanks in advance! mytea ... A less complex product will have less bugs. The core of Firefox should only be the needed functionality to browse the web. Additions that are built in like Pocket add additional code. I my idea is that Firefox should split Pocket out from the Firefox executable and have it as an pre-installed extension which can be disabled by users or even removed if they do not want to have have it in their installation.   ... Hello! As a project for one of my MBA classes, I came up with an idea for a browser sub-application, with a simple MVP screen shot as attached, I hope you might find helpful. I have to imagine you or your competitors have already thought of this, or something similar, but I couldn't find it on the web. In any case, my own background is as a mechanical engineer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rob-schiavi-p-e-m-b-a-b0275093/) and I have worked in IPR in the past. My employer performed an inhouse IPR assessment and released the rights to me as it's not pertinent to their industry; however, I thought it may be worth something to you. I'm not at all looking to get rich pitching the idea but would ask for reasonable compensation if the business model appears valuable. Firefox supports WebAuthn, but as far as I could tell only with hardware tokens. I could not find a word about Firefoxs support of Passkeys (like Apple announced recently) anywhere Personally I don't know why passkeys werent adopted much sooner, it seems such a long hanging fruit to just store the key in the FF password manager. I use FF to support a web where there is not only one option, like Chrome, but FF keeps falling behind and behind instead of being at the forefront. This should be a top priority. ... View more

I'm a mac user, and I've used css to make my new tab page transparent like in Safari. The only way I could figure it out is: #tabbrowser-tabpanels { background: transparent !important; } But this makes the background transparent on websites that don't have a set background card/colour too. Is there a way I can isolate this to just the new tab page, or could this possibly be something we could change in about:config in future? I love the toolbar transparency. Thanks for what you do! ... please add the option to disable scrolling of tabs when there are a lot of them. Due to the fact that they are hidden, their number is not felt, and a person does not notice how they are replenished with each use of the browser. Hi Firefox team, Firefox currently supports basic backdrop-filter like blur(), but lacks support for SVG filters via backdrop-filter: url(#filter). This limits advanced effects like the “liquid glass” seen in Chrome and Safari.
