Strollin' around
Status: New idea

With Reddit's upcoming transition to a paid API model, users are most likely going to lose access to third party Reddit clients on mobile. Because of this, I feel it'll be important for Android users to be able to install Reddit Enhancement Suite, so that they're not stuck using the horrendous, closed-source, official Reddit app.

Apparently RES does work on Firefox Android, but you need to create a custom addon list in order to use it, which is only supported in non-mainline builds like Nightly and Fennec F-Droid. As well, I have had issues with addons not updating when I've had a custom addon list enabled on Fennec F-Droid.

This is huge and would have me on the Firefox app all the time. Can't stand the modern Reddit design for both the website and its official Android app. And with 3rd party apps being killed off later this month, this would be my only hope for using Reddit somewhat effectively on mobile.

This would be a total game changer. So many people having to deal with a poor Reddit experience on mobile right now.

Hey Folks - only the developer of this extension can publish an Android compatible version and after the announcement we made last week, the ability to do so is now available for all developers and any extension.
