When clicking "Send" an email, the "Cancel" option disappears far too quickly; consider adding confirmation to Send

After composing an email, I click "Send". A small window appears with a progress bar and a "Cancel" button. The window disappears as soon as the progress bar reaches completion. This is far too quick to click "Cancel". It would be very useful to have a confirmation dialogue that says "Are you sure you want to send?" and place that as an option in the Settings dialogue.

This would be very useful because I usually click "Send" as a reflex, and THEN I realize that I forgot something, eg. an attachment.
