When there are a lot of tabs open, it would be nice to be able to use scrollwheel while dragging a tab to quickly scroll through the tabs instead of dragging to the very left or right.
@byronyuq Just to be clear, my understanding (in Win10) is that there are currently four ways to do what you are describing:
Pointer hover - Left Click and Trackball roll left or right (I use a Logitech MX Ergo Trackball vs mouse)
Pointer hover - Left Click and Touchpad swipe
Pointer hover - Touchpad Click + Hold and Touchpad swipe (single finger operation for a11y)
Pointer hover - Double Tap Touchpad + Hold and Touchpad swipe (single finger operation for a11y)
Are you advocating a fifth functionality, barring any OS or accessibility conflicts, to do what the above methods do just using the scrollwheel vs a touchpad swipe or trackball/mouse roll?
I use a mouse and I'd like to be able to scroll through the open tabs while holding left click to drag another tab at the same time. Scrollwheel normally scrolls through tabs, but it does not work while dragging a tab with left click.
I use a mouse and when I am dragging a tab with left click, I'd like to be able to use my mouse's scrollwheel to scroll through open tabs at the same time. Currently, the scrollwheel is able to scroll through tabs, but it stops working while dragging a tab with left click.
