Hi, I've been using your new Japanese translation feature a lot lately.
It's a great, great feature, congratulations on developing this.
But, It's annoying that I have to confirm the popup every time I want to enable translation.
I don't know why. I mainly translate from one language to my own.
The "automatically translate" feature doesn't work for me either; I need to see the original text first.
I just need an "on/off" button in the address bar or a shortcut. That's all. The button's function, the translation, could be defined in the settings. Best regards.

Hello

Firefox Translation.

When you visit a webpage in a supported language, the translation panel will open automatically. If it does not open, click the translation icon in the toolbar or select Translate page from the Hamburguer menu.

To see it in operation, you can also type about:translations in the address bar.

About, automatically popup an offer to translate on site.

You can try.
1 - Go to configuration editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox
2 - Enter a search term browser.translations.automaticallyPopup
You can double-click on the preference to set the value to false
