A recent update changed the Recent Destinations List under "Move To" and "Copy To" from an alphabetical list to a Most-Recently-Used (MRU) list, which really hampers the usability. What I have now is a random list of 25 folders that I have to search through to see if the one I want is somewhere in the list. Before the update I could easily go down the alphabetically ordered list and quickly find the folder I want. Now it's a hot mess. Please revert back to the alphabetical ordering or make it a user option. Thanks!

Although it was previously a useful tool, I have mostly stopped using Move to>Recent Destinations. It is usually a waste of my time now.

(By the way, I am a multi-year donor; including as recent as December 2025.)

Add my name to the list of those who find alphabetical ordering much easier to use than scrolling through a list of randomly sorted folders.

Please restore the "Move To / Copy to > Recent Destinations" option to alphabetical order OR, at the very least, give Users the option of restoring to alphabetical order.
I have made a similar suggestion: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/move-to-copy-to-gt-recent-destinations/idi-p/116279?emcs_t=S2h8...

I don't understand the logic or thought process behind changing this from alphabetical to date-sorted.  It seems to be a poorly conceived decision.  I would find it interesting to have a conversation with the sponsor of this change.  I imagine it to be a mind-bending discussion.

I don't know who came up with the brilliant idea of changing this!
Before, it was much easier to find the folder you wanted to move the email to.
In my opinion, the current feature is more of a hindrance than a help.If in doubt, you could offer both options so that users can decide which suits them better.

Same here, I miss the Alphabetical order.   Please return that feature, it's so much easier to find the folder I want to save the email in.

Thanks!

I prefer alphabetical.  The best solution is to make the sort order a preference setting so each user can tailor it to their liking.

Please, back to alphabetical or at least give us the choice.

Please change it back to alphabetical order!!!

Changing from alphabetical to date sorted had made this option useless. It takes longer to find the folder in the recent list than to scroll through the whole list of alphabetical folders. Please make a way to change this setting back to what actually is more efficient.

I posted this issue last December: File (saving/moving) to a folder - Recent function (bug2000453). Alphabetical is common sense.

I prefer the files be listed in Alphabetical order as it has been that way for years. I think a viable alternative is have an option for Alphabetical or Most Recently Used, with the default being Alphabetical.
