Thunderbird 115.3.3 for Windows - click on notification popup should focus email message

I often leave the message list pane set to filter on "unread", in which case clicking on the Windows notification popup for a new email displays the message, but the keyboard doesn't have focus on it. I think the email message should have focus so that the keyboard could then be used for a quick action on it (such as deleting).
