Anzeige der neuen Emails / Display of new emails

Ich wundere mich immer wieder, warum oft die Liste der Emails angezeigt wird und dabei die Anzeige weit vor dem aktuellen Datum gewählt ist.

In meinen Augen wäre es sinnvoll, zum Anfang als aktuelle Email immer die letzte Email in der gewählten Liste anzuwählen.

I always wonder why the list of emails is often displayed and the display is selected well before the current date. In my opinion, it would make sense to always select the last email in the selected list as the current email at the beginning.
