Thunder audible alert for new messages

I suggest that a way to turn off the audible alerts as to new messages in Thunderbird be added.

That setting is in options.  Try searching for alert in settings

It is under the "incoming mail" section under settings under tools.

When I searched in the knowledge database, it showed there was nothing there.

I assume that there will be now.
