Sort extensions from Tools menu alphabetically (as in other browsers).

Hello everyone,

I would like Firefox to do something that seems to be "natural" in other browsers (it's one of the few things I like about other browsers): alphabetize the hidden extensions in the Tools menu (overflow menu) .

That, at least a simple task.

Now, if you wanted more points in your favor, that the overflow menu has a behavior similar to the Bookmarks menu, have the ability to sort items alphabetically on user request (selecting the corresponding option from the context menu).

Thank you very much. One more user since the first versions of Firefox, do not disappoint me, you are still on time.

This is an excellent idea and something with a handy functionality that would be implemented quite easy.

Almost a year later, and my extensions are still in random order. Why?

I don't know if the alphabetical order is the best, anyway it would be nice to not have a different order depending on context !

Maybe the best would be:

1. At about:addons we would be able to choose the order of extensions by dragging them.
2. At each place there are several extensions for which Firefox (or Thunderbird) has to choose an order (in the Tools menu, in contextual menus, ...), it picks the one chosen at about:addons.
