Scroll address by swiping across the address bar

Seriously missing a feature to scroll the address displayed in the address bar by swiping without tapping it first (if switching tabs by swipe if disabled, of course). I find this useful to check exact page addresses as pages are in progress of loading, as tapping the address bar causes lag on slower devices since it renders the whole start page, and also obstructs the view, which is undesirable for me.
