Put ‘Home’ button back on toolbar (iOS)

I’m really missing the home button on iOS as it was a quick and easy way to access bookmarks. Please add it back or give users the option to customise the toolbar!

This supposed fix is not available to me yet. The only addition to the settings is adjusting the zoom(?). Can’t say I see the need for that, I preferred being able to zoom directly on the tab like before so maybe you could put that back where it was too that would be great. Stop messing with **bleep** and hiding features!! Why would I want more clicks to do the same thing I did before?

@Mo59 @nightsgrow @Kissarmy try closing the browser and relaunching it. I was having the same issue when testing it, and that worked. If not, let me know and we can look into this more.

Hi, I’ve got 144.2 installed and don’t see the home button option under Settings > appearance or under address bar. What does rolling out gradually mean? I’m in Australia, has it not been included in the version we download?

However, the option is not in either the Address Bar menu or the Appearance menu.  I not only closed all instance of Firefox (144.2), I updated the iPhone OS.

So if the option to recover the Home button does exist, where is it residing as of this morning??

Currently at 144.1 (62735), no sign of the Home vs Tabs button option in the Appearance menu, both iOS and iPadOS.

Is this a regional thing?

I have version 144.1 and I just recently noticed that I can get to my homepage with all my shortcuts by just clicking on the address bar.  As soon as I click on the adress bar, my homepage show up.  Just like clicking on the home button, but only doing it on the address bar.

I also dislike the recent design changes. Please bring back the Home button and the favorites button to the top menu. Clicking the elipses and having to dig for features that were a single click away is frustrating.

Also, the option to scan a QR code from the address bar has disappeared. Did we lose that feature or is it also buried some where?

Version 145 says you can choose Home in the Address Bar but there is no such option in Settings for the iPad 145.0 (63787) so no way of getting a Home button.

Same.  I'm curious - can anyone enlighten as to how a feature made available several updates ago shows for some and not others?
