Put ‘Home’ button back on toolbar (iOS)

I’m really missing the home button on iOS as it was a quick and easy way to access bookmarks. Please add it back or give users the option to customise the toolbar!

Good news...

This is now delivered. While the default is the new tab button, there is now a setting where you can customize it and select the home button—see @andyf's recent comment for more info.

My phone updated yesterday to Firefox 143.2 (62218), but I do not yet see the new option in the Appearance setting tab.

I'm glad that andyf has addressed this issue.  But the screens he shows in his tutorial do not have the same features as the screens on my iphone, and so andyf's tutorial does not solve the problem for me.  I don't have the menu bars on my firefox homepage.  Also, the tutorial is much too fast and therefore hard to follow.

I’ve seen that this has supposedly been fixed but it’s not visible in my app which is version 143.2.

I too am totally frustrated since the Home button disappeared in FF iOS. What a disaster! Please fix this!

This was the MOST USED control for me. Click (push) and back to the Home screen to choose a new favorite from pinned icons. 

There's plenty of room for it. Bring it back. 

PS. This is my first time at Mozilla outside the Tech forums... came here only because of this change. This "update" was a negative event.

@MozzieBob this should already be available for you in the latest version of Firefox for iOS — there is a setting in the Address Bar menu where you can customize it. The default option is New Tab but there is also an option to choose Home. Hope this helps! Or if you're not seeing it, let us know.
