Allow an option to either prompt for primary password on startup or NOT prompt at startup.   I want to delay entering my primary password until I actually stumble on a site which prompts for login. 1/2 the time I just need to browse for something (no login) and close Firefox, and it's tiresome to close the primary password prompt repeatedly.

Reference: At least 1 other is with me.

Yes. This is very irritating. Also mine is linked somehow to my windows password? Apparently they are the same or not, and I cannot recover either of them so..Would be nice to just remove the master password, because now I cannot even sync my phone to my computer at all now.

Every time, submitting a password is so annoying. Need to find another solution. Like a dedicated option in the application menu to unlock or when I try to autofill my first password and want to see my passwords that time once need to submit the password. Also, a dedicated option to lock it again. 👽

This drives me nuts. There has to be a better way to implement this!

Open firefox, immediately have to sign in, when all I have open is a blank tab? No no no.

On top of that, some sites cause this to open again and again for any link you click on.
Sure that is their rubbish coding, but it all starts with the way Firefox is designed.
So it is YOUR fault by default Mozilla.

Also as a bug - when you open/move a window before/as this prompt happens, and you close the prompt box to sign in, the firefox window moves back to where it was - so it jumps back - highly frustrating when working on high resolution or multiple screens.

FIX IT PLEASE!
