Make EVERYTHING Escape-able

EVERY single feature should have an exit feature with the ESC key. I cannot think of how many times I've pressed into a hotkey shortcuts that I don't know about or have a very similar key to the site I'm using and ask myself why do I have to pick back up the mouse to get the hell out of here?

It is quite frustrating to know that such simple feature is not at the forethought or even just a given when making the feature.
