As a person with Parkinson's, I have shaky hands and typing is getting harder.  This also happens when I move and click on the mouse.  As a result, I have mistakenly moved several folders (i.e.: Outgoing, Sent, Junk) to locations where they don't belong.

I am not requesting that the folder's contents be locked, just the folders themselves.

Can anyone be of assistance?

Thank You

I dont have parkinson but this happen often with me. Accidentaly move folder into another folder but no option to cancel it on displayed info panel or undo from menu. No info where moved from folder. Its make me crazy.
Mouse pointer could have click everywhere! It is not kind of magic.

I agree with tgely, why not just add a "Cancel" button to the "Filters associated with this folder will be updated" dialogue box?

I was directed here to ask the same thing (OT https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1474478 )

But yes, I too would love to see this feature or at least an option that I can turn on when I want Thunderbird to ask a confirmation before I drag 'n drop folders.

Thank you.

As someone that works on the laptop from time to time, I have this problem too as the trackpad sometimes has its own life and clicks and drags, when I meant to just move the mouse pointer. So this is a problem even without Parkinson...
