I think many people including me want to have the Japanese translation option for websites. I need to use now google translate for translating Japanese websites. And I don't like it to use every time google translate for that.

I was very excited when the new translator came with 117. Only to find that it can only translate like 2 languages in a trench coat. Nothing wrong with starting with a small scope, far from it, particularly when you are working on something as complex as a client-side translator, but it would be nice (really nice, actually) if the tab where you install new languages had a roadmap of what languages are coming and when to expect them.

I think adding more language is very important to really be usable, as most of us want to bridge to Asian languages, thus Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean... should be our priority next.

Japanese language support is one of the things holding me back of fully switching to Firefox.

Most websites have either no manual translation and the current extensions are kinda horrible to use...

@marcoIs there maybe a roadmap/dashboard for features? 😁
