Improvement of table formatting

An advanced email client, such as Thunderbird, is often used in a professional context, in which tabulation of content frequently becomes essential. However, as far as I am concerned, table formatting in Thunderbird (even current Supernova 115.xx versions) has been rather tedious and inefficient - not to mention the fact that unexpected irregularities occur in tables and/or their contents (font size and/or type, rows and/or columns etc.) when the email is read in Android and iOS email apps. Personally, I would greatly welcome the luxury of near LibreOffice Writer capabilities of table formatting.
