An option to prevent the tab from reloading/redirecting/closing until you "unfreeze." Would be useful for certain news sites that automatically reload every few minutes while I'm reading the article. If the user presses a link, the close button, the reload button or hits F5/Ctrl+R, a prompt appears, saying "you have frozen this tab. To close, reload or visit another page, you must unfreeze it first. Do you want to unfreeze this tab?" Should be useful for sites (forms to fill in for example) that you don't want to accidentally reload, but that don't automatically display the "This page is asking you to confirm its closure" message. Essentially, the freeze tab option would be an option that manually enables the "This page is asking you to confirm..." message, and blocks automatic redirections/reloads.
Could be an option in the tab right-click menu, a button in the menu bar or a keyboard shortcut.

TABS FREEZING

Good day. I do strongly suggest to implement the option "TAB FREEZING" and timing options (tabs freeze after a certain time). I do recommend this option existing in other browsers. Hope this my suggestion will be implemented. Bye there

@Mozilla2048 @RomeMilan3000 does the "Unload Tab" feature address your request?

@JonNot really. While "unloaded," a tab cannot be viewed. My idea of a "frozen" tab is a normal tab that can be viewed, still uses memory, but is blocked from being reloaded, redirected or closed until "unfrozen."

I don't know for sure what RomeMilan3000 meant, but I don't know of any other browser that have implemented a "freeze tab" option as I imagine it. I think RomeMilan3000's idea is rather a "tab auto-unload" feature (i.e., a tab left unused for more than X minutes is automatically "unloaded" like in Brave Browser), similar to these:
