Thank you for the great idea @hutcheon! Happy to say we currently have Firefox Sync functionality planned for the Thunderbird 115 (Supernova) release cycle. Stay tuned!
Yeah i would really love that but 1 important point for me is that i can use my firefox sync account in thunderbird sync so that i dont need a second account and thunderbird sync should be integratet with the thunderbird android client
TB offers the adaptive junk algorithm, which learns from the user whenever he moves emails around folders. Is the learnt heuristic be sync via the feature @jevangelho mentioned?
Follow up to @jevangelho posting of April 11, a technical snag has emerged that may prevent Thunderbird sync from happening in version 115. But good news, the developement work is continuing.
This would be ideal for those who use multiple versions of Thunderbird to test new features (nightly, daily, beta) and new add-ons (extensions and themes), while maintaining the integrity of their primary Thunderbird profile.
Sync settings and accounts across multiple computers - Thunderbird
There should be a way to have your accounts and your settings synced across multiple instances of Thunderbird. I have multiple computers, run VM's, and test lots of different operating systems. It would be ideal if there were a way to sync firstly your email accounts, but also sync all changes you make in your settings across multiple instances of Thunderbird, like the way you can in Firefox, or with Xbrowser Sync across multiple browsers.
