I'd like to be able to keep the thunderbird settings, layouts, etc in sync across multiple systems (and ideally, mobile).

Thank you for the great idea @hutcheon! Happy to say we currently have Firefox Sync functionality planned for the Thunderbird 115 (Supernova) release cycle. Stay tuned!

I would like to do login account in Firefox focus.
Yeah i would really love that but 1 important point for me is that i can use my firefox sync account in thunderbird sync so that i dont need a second account and thunderbird sync should be integratet with the thunderbird android client
TB offers the adaptive junk algorithm, which learns from the user whenever he moves emails around folders. Is the learnt heuristic be sync via the feature @jevangelho mentioned?
@crazybyte I think current plans do not include syncing adaptive junk information.
Community Manager, Thunderbird
Follow up to @jevangelho posting of April 11, a technical snag has emerged that may prevent Thunderbird sync from happening in version 115. But good news, the developement work is continuing.

This is being worked on — stay tuned for updates from the Thunderbird Team.
And of course, thanks for sharing your feedback and ideas here on Mozilla Connect 🙌
Yes please, this is the most important feature for me besides an android version of thunderbird.
This would be ideal for those who use multiple versions of Thunderbird to test new features (nightly, daily, beta) and new add-ons (extensions and themes), while maintaining the integrity of their primary Thunderbird profile.
