Status: New idea

I'm an Android user so I'm not sure what the situation is for IOS but, on Android at least, you can't change download location. This is really annoying as I have to constantly move files after downloading. Please fix this.

Making moves

@Jon after reading these comments, I feel vindicated in posting an item about the long time it takes to get TOOLKIT (PW Manager and Site Compatibility) issues fixed. I agree with many comments here, that nearly 4 years seems a long time to get a simple option coded in the UI.

I opened up Chrome for the first time in years to find this option enabled by default. Unfortunately I can't justify using FF anymore. Mozilla really dropped the ball on this one.

Hi @Llanfair! Good news, this was released yesterday in Android version 153!

You can now choose your default download location and rename files before downloading.

We hope you give it a try and it helps!! Thank you for the feedback.

Strollin' around

@justinb : How and where? I still just get the entirely useless question "Download file?" with an unchangeable name and the options to proceed or cancel instead of a Save As-Dialog

Yup the feature does not exist yet even in the new update.
