Can we get the bio auth prompts triggered whenever firefox attempts to use stored/synchronized credentials to auto fill website forms? I've attached a screenshot of Microsoft Edge for Android - this feature has been provided to the masses in 2021. I've been seeing this feature being requested for Firefox iOS/Android since at least August, 2020.

I want to keep using firefox sync and having my passwords go everywhere with me - loved how you hid them behind the biometric authentication native to the mobile operating system. Can't we do the same for autofill?

How much more do you want to be controlled by AI and big tech. You must be out of your mind or have no vision for a future that will never come.

I'm not following... How does this feature request equate to yielding over control to big tech and AI?

This is already a feature in Chrome.

To be more specific, under Chrome for Windows, the password fill-in feature can be secured with Windows Hello which then authenticates using whatever means available.

This is a very good feature to have, specially in the areas where phone robbing is increasing. It would be good to have it both on mobile and desktop.
