With the new Firefox View [that is a great thing] how about there will be more things like history, downloads and that stuff and then you could customize it. Custom background, the user will choose if they want history but not downloads. That would be pretty cool not gonna lie.

Also i attached an image of how the Firefox view would look like with the customize button [its really bad if they do add that in its gonna be more fancy i also spent way too much time on that]

Edit: Just saw a suggestion to blend view and new tab together. Could so maybe it could be editable new tab?

Don't we already have this under the History tab at the top of the page in the menu bar?

A customizable "Firefox View" with setup for the following "standalone containers" with information in it about:

  • history [different Containers, Most Used, Last visited, Best Voted, Editable customized Link List]
  • tags [different Containers, Most Used, Last visited, Best Voted, Editable customized Link List]
  • downloads
  • extensions [last installed]
  • themes [last installed]

and it would also be a good one to use as "new tab"

And it would also be nice to be able to put it as "new tab"

Rather it be removed. All this info was already available within 2 clicks. This does nothing.

..and months later, it's still not worth the 'built-in headache factor' to even try and ask about this issue here in Connect.Mozilla.. Why is there an 'orange color icon' directly below the standard orange macOS icon in browser.

So you click on a spare that does nothing? ~ and won't easily go away, after this Firefox 115.5.0 ESR update?? Too bad the issue had to be forced on those who didn't realize WTF why the fart this is even here now!!

Yup. Make it my preferred view with things arranged in a way that works best for me, including being able to remove unwanted sections.
