desired option: one ctrl-d/cmd-d to edit a bookmark: make the star icon go away

I edit bookmarks A LOT.  One ctrl-d/cmd-d to fill in the star icon and a SECOND ctrl-d/cmd-d to bring up the window so I can edit the bookmark?  No.  I want the reappearance of the option to make the star icon, so I can make it go away and only need ONE ctrl-d/cmd-d to bring up that window.

I know there are ways to make it go away but I shouldn't have to create and edit a CSS file in such-and-such a folder to make this happen.

Next time you call up that panel, look for a checkbox most of the way down for "Show editor when saving". This was the default setting for a long time, but many users report that it somehow got turned off on their Firefox. ??
