I wish I could have the same Bookmarks I use in the Desktop toolbar on my start page in iOS. Safari does this the right way. I see no use in having separate pins on the mobile device. In general the bookmarks should work more like those on the desktop. There is absolutely no need to have a separate "Mobile Bookmarks" folder. The iOS version also has a reading list, which doesn't seem to be synchronized in any way.

I think all I need is a bookmark and search form on the start page.

Would be great to have the ability in Firefox for iOS/iPadOS to set certain pages that will always (!) appear on the start screen. Safari does that already. So I can for example add Google and other pages that I can quick access via the start screen.

That could be done for example with a bookmark folder out of that these links are generated. Each lkink in that folder will be shown on the start screen. And there could be an option for that in the customization of the start screen settings.

Allow use of bookmark toolbar in IOS

This would be a great feature for tablet users / Smart Keyboard users who want to replicate their desktop experience

I’m returning to Safari because Firefox make it uselessly complicated to reach for my bookmarks. There is no option to display them on the homepage like Safari does by default. Also, it always open a new tab each time I leave Firefox to check another app and come back… very annoying.

Hi! We have a feature on the homepage called 'Recently Saved' which will display your most recent bookmarks. Happy to hear how we could improve this to cover your use cases.

Ok, but I don't need my latest bookmarks that I might just want to read later. The simplest and easiest solution is not available: The contents of a single bookmark folder. The closest thing I can come to this is to "pin" the relevant bookmarks to my start page. But those are hard to maintain, because I can not re-order them without removing an pinning everything again in reversed order.

@SBenoitThe opening of new tabs on return can be disabled via Settings => Homepage. Set this to "last tab".

Hi there are a number of entries (with kudos) on getting a bookmarks bar a la Safari on the iOS version of Firefox. Could we merge this requests under one so the kudos adds up. This would really improve life for a lot of people.Cheers C

I use firefox on all my desktop systems but on mobile (iPad and iPhone) I dont. Only because the bookmarks are a pain to reach.

I wont start using firefox mobile until they are implementing a bookmark access right on the homescreen like safari does. One single button with a pop up list with all my synced bookmarks from the desktop version...

I use Firefox on an iPad 12.9 and a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the lack of a bookmark toolbar is a major annoyance compared to other browsers (Safari, Edge etc). These are way more like desktop experiences than mobile and should behave accordingly (and yeah, bin the Mobile Bookmarks, just a major annoyance all-round). It takes FOUR clicks to get to the same list of bookmarks I can just see in front of me on Mac/Linux/Windows. Thanks!

Why is this placed on Mobile-Android section?
