Often I am on a site and need to refresh the domain, not the page. A button to do this would be handy.

Here is an example of my current process:

1. I'm logged into a site and have left the page open for a while.
2. I need to refresh the site, not the page.
3. I select everything after the .com/.org/.au/.whatever which are the URL parameters, and delete them.
4. I then hit enter.

An example URL is this page I'm on now:
https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/ideas
I would delete everything from after .org to the end of the address, then hit enter. The effective addres in this case would be:
https://connect.mozilla.org

I do the above ALL THE TIME.

It would be great to have a button between the security and SSL icons that would refresh the domain by doing as I have described above.

Many websites have a "home" button or link for the site's home page, so it's probably never occurred to anyone that the browser would need that, too. Interesting.
