Hi there,

I am an IT technical writer with over twenty years of experience. How may I use my expertise to help Mozilla with its software documentation?

Thanks for reaching out @320Gigabytes,

A couple options...

You can contribute on our support site: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/contribute

This is not too technical but a good option to use your knowledge to help revise support content.

Another potential option that may align with your experience as an IT technical writer is our MDN community: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/community

Hope this helps!

Twenty years in technical writing is seriously impressive! It’s great to see someone with that much experience looking for ways to contribute to open-source projects.

Good documentation often makes the difference between a tool people struggle with and one they can actually use confidently.

Hopefully, the opportunity with Mozilla turns into something rewarding for you!
