On Thunderbird Desktop on MS Windows (128.6.0esr), the calendar item context menu looks as follows:
- "Open" (same as double-click) will open a read-only copy of the item - that seems are rare use case and should be removed (a read only summary will be displayed as a hover action anyway)
- "Edit" does as expected - this should be the double-click action, and could therefore be removed as well
- "New Event" and "New Task" are not context actions at all and have no place here ("New Event" being the double-click action on empty calendar area)
- "CC&P" should be available by default and will not usually be part of a context menu
- "Convert To" and "Delete Event" (no need for "Event" really as this is implied) are OK
What could go here are actions like "Print" and quick edit actions from the Edit Event dialog e.g. "Invite", "Foward", "Categorize", "Show as", "Mark private", all of which save clicks.

Thanks, works as advertised. I wonder why this was not made the default to begin with.
