reader view on mac - no more theme controls?

recently theme control in reader view has disappeared. how can i get that to work again?

Is your Firefox running in a "high contrast" mode? I don't think background colors are allowed in high contrast mode. This article describes how to switch that off to see whether what is the explanation: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/disable-high-contrast-mode-firefox

thanks for your idea. i was not running high contrast mode.

but this bug has magically disappeared and dark reader mode is now available.
