This is my first post so I apologise if I am not following a rule.
I was curious read that firefox is finally working on vertical tabs (https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/here-s-what-we-re-working-on-in-firefox/td-p/57694) like other browsers have as I currently use a heavily styled sideberry. But I was curious to how it would function.
Would it be able to be slide-out animated/different styling possibilities or would it simply be like horizontal tabs and be static? I personally would love to have it slide out on hover so you keep a lot of screen space for websites themselves.
What do you think? Would custom styling be a must for vertical tabs?
