History Cleaner Add-On on Android

I know I can add this using Firefox Nightly or Beta, but does anyone know if it actually works?

It's the kind of extension you're meant to set up and forget about, but if it doesn't work then there's little point in setting it up at all.

It doesn't seem to work in Android. It works fine on desktop.
