Dear Mozilla Firefox Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing as a loyal user of Firefox for Android to provide feedback and request improvements to enhance the privacy, security, and user experience of the browser.
1. Secure DNS Integration:
It would be highly beneficial to integrate a Secure DNS feature in Firefox for Android, allowing users to select from trusted providers like 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare), Google DNS, or custom DNS options. This addition would further reinforce user privacy by encrypting DNS queries and protecting against potential attacks, keeping Firefox at the forefront of secure browsing.
2. Browsing History Display Issue on Homepage:
I have previously raised concerns regarding an issue where browsing history is displayed on the Homepage even when the option is turned off in the settings. I have reported this issue more than twice over a significant period, and despite assurances that Mozilla would look into the matter (as stated in a reply to my review on the Play Store), no concrete steps seem to have been taken to address it.
This persistent issue undermines user trust and contradicts the browser’s privacy-oriented philosophy. I urge you to prioritize fixing this bug to ensure users' settings are respected and their expectations met.
I greatly appreciate the work Mozilla does to maintain Firefox as a secure, open-source browser. I hope these requests can be implemented to further improve the Android experience. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Rimon Hossain
