Firefox (only mobile?) doesn't improve local connections to HTTPS even though connections can be established through secure channel and it should for obvious reasons. Also wording for https local websites is really bad, a connection may be locally signed but it shouldn't say "Not secure connection" (same as http connection) especially on mobile you can't even see if the website is http or https unless you just enter the url entry bar.
