Wallpaper in new tab

Can we have the opportunity to add a wallpaper in the new tab view? Like chrome or edge, that you can upload a picture and use it as a background in the new tab.

i also want this as i have just swapped over to firefox because chrome are enforcing adds on youtube so f chrome but i still want my personal webbrowser photo (anime)

 People been complaining to firefox about this for a long time and obviously they don't give a crap or they would've done something about it long before now.

This w workaround it works you just have to make everything is done exactly right or it won't. I got a photo on my firefox homepage.

Y'all that has mentioned to firefox about an option to put a photo on the firefox homepage don't hold your breath.If firefox was going to do it they would've already done it. It's aggravating that they know most all other browsers have the option but firefox won't do a dang thing about it.I don't know if they think they're so big and popular that they don't have to waste the time and effort into providing the option or not.But I think they're snubbing their noses at us and I found another way one of several webpages that shows you how to do it and just follow the direction precisely it should work.

It's frustrating for me that Firefox still refuse to provide new tab background images, although the function is implemented by  almost all 3rd party add-ons, and all important competitors.

Please do this!  It is terrible that you don't value this idea.   Clearly people have been requesting it and Edge and Chrome already has this feature.   Not nerdy enough for you? I sorry that DOS went away 🙂

People keep asking about the homepage background option, firefox isn't doing nothing about it.

@diamonddanI know firefox is very slow with features, I made this post 2 years ago and nothing... that´s why it´s not my main browser anymore.
