Status: New idea

We have to paste the link constantly to change the icon of the shortcuts on the Firefox New Tab page, for convenience sake, please allow us to upload an image. I don't want to spend too much time turning an image into an image link.

Any progress on this idea? Mine disappear all the time, or are of such poor quality, they're blurry! Allowing an upload of what image we want to use would be great.

Please get this idea going. Every url hosting site does not work and shows the website itself in the image rather than just the logo

Whenever I use an image URL, it still shows the website I'm hosting it from. I just want to have the website logo and not jump through 40000 hoops just to have a logo on my homepage.

I also want/need this feature. The generic letters that get used as shortcut icons don't tell me where I'm going & it doesn't seem to work to create a URL for the image I want to use.

Why do the pictures in the shortcats remain a letter, and not the logo from the site is pulled up?

Still no update on allowing users to use their own designated images for the shortcuts? I love my shortcut home page, but I prefer to be able to assign my own images.

ffs... YES! this is driving me up the wall. do i really want a bunch of random letters. no. the answer is emphatically no.

also while at it can you please for the love of god fix Search... i do not want searches to default to the address bar. i have tried every trick i have come across and not one works.

these may not be big issues but almost enough to make me go back to Chrome.
